How to use

Easy calls the suit pattern (rainbow, two-tone, monotone). Medium asks whether the flop is paired. Hard asks how wet it is, meaning how many hands make something or draw to it. Use the number keys to answer and Enter for the next one.

Assumptions & limits

Wetness scores what the board lets hands make or draw to. It is this site's teaching model, not solver output. Flush: rainbow 0, two-tone 2 (flush draws), monotone 4 (flushes already possible). Straights: every two-card holding of ranks not on the board is tried; one that already makes a straight counts 3, an open-ended or double-gutshot draw 2, a gutshot 1. A total of 9+ gives 1 point, 12+ 2, 18+ 3, 31+ 4, so middle connected boards like 9-8-x or J-T-9 are far wetter than A-K-x or A-7-2, whose high cards sit at the edge of every straight. Pairing: a pair −1, trips −2, because fewer hands connect. Total 0–1 is dry, 2–3 semi-wet, 4–5 wet, 6+ very wet. Example: 9♦8♦2♣ is two-tone (2); JT, T7 and 76 are open-enders plus several gutshots (2); 4 in total, wet.
